Love a great deal and want to shop early but don't have enough hours in the day? We can make it happen!

Just Between Friends of Wichita is trying to keep costs down by offering a way for volunteers to do or give something in return for shopping early. Here are some of the ideas we had. If you have some ideas of your own to help us save money…please contact us and present your idea.  Please note a new policy starting Spring 2009; do to the number of man hours it takes for breakdown, all barter opportunities will require a one hr breakdown shift.  Please click below to be directed to the volunteer scheduler and choose the shift that fits best for you! Here are a few ways to earn a Presale Pass:

Arrange a Meet and Greet: If you can set up a meeting with your MOP's group, women's ministry group, bible study group, book club, lamaze class, or any group of women that would love to hear about the wonderful benefits of JBF then you will earn a 8 our presale pass. Select

Spread the Word: If you can deliver postcards to 4 designated locations; preschools, daycares, churches or other organizations then you will earn a 4 hour presale pass. Select

Schools: If you can obtain permission for JBF to distribute postcards in a school or deliver a teacher appreciation basket to a school then you will earn a 4 hour presale pass. Select

Meals: If you can provide ONE complete meal for 8-10 volunteers then you can earn an 8 hour Presale Pass.  Complete meal includes a main dish (large enough to feed 8-10 hard working people), a side dish and dessert.  Meal barter opportunities are: Select

Wednesday 11/18: Lunch or Dinner

Thursday 11/19: Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner

Friday 11/20: Breakfast or Lunch 

Saturday 11/21: Breakfast or Lunch

Sunday 11/22: Breakfast or Lunch

Snacks: If you can provide snacks for 10 volunteers then you can earn a 4 hour Presale Pass. 

Snack option 1; cheese and crackers, 1 box of granola bars and fruit ~ select. 

Snack option 2; trail mix or chex mix (or something similar), something sweet and fruit ~ select. 

Snack option 3; 1 package of individually wrapped peanut butter crackers, 2 bags of chips and fruit ~ select

Trailer usage: If you have a trailer or moving van that we can use for set-up and/or drop off then you can earn two 8 hr presale passes.

Drinks: If you can provide a couple cases of bottled water or canned pop then you can earn a 4 hour Presale Pass. Select

Stuffing Vendor Bags: If you can stuff several hundred items (typically paper coupons, business cards, etc.) for our vendor packs then you will earn an 8 hr presale pass.  All materials will be provided to you within 2 weeks of the sale.  Completed packets need to be brought to the sale.
